The Indochina War
In the beginning, France ruled over Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, creating Indochina. There was a man named Ho Chi-Minh, he was was the leader of the Vietminh army. In 1946 war broke out between France and the Vietminh. President Harry Truman sent over soldiers to Indochina to help French. That aiding lasted until President Dwight Eisenhower was in office. The war between France, and the Vietminh ended August 1954 with a peace treaty.
